Fun, Relaxed and GorgeousI aim to capture the atmosphere and natural feeling of a moment with a gorgeous photograph. A moment in time for a child, couple or family is a precious memory that cannot be valued too highly.
Each session is individual and it is important you feel comfortable with your clothing selections, so that the pictures represent your lifestyle. Bring several outfits if you like so that you have choices. I have some suggestions listed below but most importantly bring whatever you are happy and comfortable wearing.
Clothing suggestions
Do plan to wear similar colored clothing for groups or families. Solids are a good choice if several people are being photographed together. Combinations that work well for both black and white and color outdoor photos are all white, all black, khaki bottoms and white tops, denim bottoms and white tops , khaki bottoms and black tops, combinations of pale pink, white and khaki and combinations of chambray blue and khaki. Dresses and bare feet are very pretty on little girls. Long shorts with pockets for boys. Hats, headbands, fun sunglasses, and favorite toys for the kids are all okay too.
AppointmentsAppointments can be made to fit the needs of your family weekdays, evenings or weekends. For outdoor portraits it is best to avoid the mid-day sun so morning or evening (sunsets can add a gorgeous glow) are the best times. For portraits taken inside your home mid day times are better to provide the most available natural light. If you have little ones please make sure your appointment time is a good time for them. They will be difficult to photograph if they are tired or hungry. Most of all your photo shoot will be a lot of fun. When everyone is enjoying themselves they always look wonderful!
